My purpose is to attain a role assisting organizations to fully realize the value that an effective human resources department can have on the overall operations. I would like to incorporate my experience and skill set in both my entrepreneurial and corporate background to help businesses reach their full potential.

I have a B.S. in Business Management and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nevada, Reno.

My entrepreneurial experience comes from ownership of a restaurant which I owned and operated for 4 years.  This has given me an opportunity to learn the many vital components necessary to manage a business.  This invaluable firsthand experience has provided me with a foundation for business management and a thorough understanding of the different components that make up an organization.

Although I was content with my business, my curiosity led me to explore the corporate world. I started as a warehouse laborer in a Fortune 50 company and worked my way up to my current position as the Human Resources Manager. I currently manage the HR department and oversee 30+ facilities with approximately 4,500+ employees.

I hope my blogs provide some useful tips and suggestions to help you get a clearer understanding of the Human Resources Department and the value that “people” create to an organization.
